Description

horseshoe skull ring 925 silver as listed metalsmith tools workshop banner

The bone texture horseshoe ring uses an open U-shaped top rather than a conventional closed signet face. Three inspected views show cracked, plate-like segments following both arms of the curve while a broad brushed shank supports the design from below. Listed product facts identify 925 silver, a 30 x 26 mm face reference, 44 g and fixed US sizes 7 through 14 including half sizes.

Treat the open top as sculpture, not an adjustment point

  • Material: 925 silver, as listed
  • Listed face: 30 x 26 mm; axes are not defined
  • Published weight: 44 g
  • Ring sizes: US 7-14, including half sizes
  • Visible structure: open horseshoe curve over a broad brushed shank

Select the correct fixed size from the variation menu. The opening belongs to the design and the page does not authorize bending it for fit. At 44 g, the ring is intended to feel considerably more substantial than a narrow western band.

Measure the intended finger and knuckle with a proper ring sizer when possible. The broad shank and raised top can feel tighter and more present than a slim ring at the same number.

Choose this ring for the cracked segments and open curve; buyers wanting a literal skull face, polished horseshoe or nail-studded motif should compare those specific designs.

Cracked segments follow both arms of the open curve

The outer surface looks assembled from irregular bone-like plates separated by deep dark seams. The opening remains visible from the front, while the side view shows the textured arms rising above a smoother, substantial band. That contrast gives the ring a western horseshoe outline without relying on engraved nails or a flat luck emblem.

The gallery does not show a separate skull face, natural bone, articulated parts, gemstones or an adjustable gap. Bone texture describes the sculpted surface only. No guaranteed luck, protection or other symbolic result is claimed.

Unlike a horseshoe signet with a closed face, this design makes negative space part of the top. It also differs from skull rings whose primary identity is an anatomical head.

Keep dark seams clear while protecting the open arms

Remove it before impact work, sports or gripping equipment. Do not use the open arms as hooks or pry points, and check knitwear for snagging before extended wear.

Brush gently across the segmented relief with mild soapy water, rinse, and dry inside the seams and beneath the top. Avoid forcing cloth or tools into the opening.

FTC guidance supports the published 925 description, GIA recommends accurate fixed-size measurement, and CCI advises limiting abrasive polishing on sculptural silver.

Store the ring alone with the open curve facing upward so another piece cannot wedge between the arms.

Open-curve, symbolism and heavy-fit questions

Is this ring made from animal bone?

No. The material is listed as 925 silver; bone texture refers only to the cracked sculpted surface.

Is the open horseshoe adjustable?

No adjustable construction is published. Choose a fixed size and do not bend the two arms.

Does the product guarantee good luck?

No. A horseshoe can be chosen for its visual association, but no protective or luck result is promised.

Why may this feel different from a thin ring?

Its 44 g reference, broad shank and raised open top create more contact and hand presence.

Does the gallery show a separate skull face?

No clear anatomical skull face is visible, so the page does not use skull as the primary visual identity.
