Clean the two surface languages separately

The projecting face may rotate when fit is loose, so check finger-base security without compromising knuckle passage. Wipe the smooth human cheek lightly and brush the skull teeth and socket recesses, preserving their contrasting finishes. Canadian Conservation Institute guidance notes that polishing removes some silver, so use light pressure and avoid repeatedly stripping intentional dark contrast from recesses.

Read both halves as one fixed composition

The skull side exposes teeth and socket depth while the human side uses a closed eye, nose and smooth cheek. The seam follows the center of the face and continues into a broad shank.

Dual face describes the visible split design; it is not reversible, rotating, personalized or sold as two separate rings. The inspected front, side and rear photographs keep the same ring identity and show how the relief joins the shank.
