Separate sculpted cracks from new impact marks

Use soft brushing in the known fracture lines and inspect after a knock for any changed edge or movement. Put the ring on after dressing and remove it for machinery, lifting, impact work and snag-prone tasks. Published weight describes the current product record; it is not an impact or load rating.

Wipe raised silver with a soft cloth and use a soft dry brush in accessible recesses. Avoid sharp picks and repeated aggressive tarnish removal. Conservation guidance notes that polishing removes some silver, so intentional dark contrast and narrow relief channels should be treated with restraint.

Measure the intended finger close to the time of wear and make sure the selected size can pass the knuckle. GIA guidance notes that ring width and finger shape influence fit.
