Description

The sitting hound lapel pin shows a full seated dog in profile, looking upward with folded forelegs and a curved back. The rear view shows a brass post with separate clutch, while current attributes list 925 silver plus a brass needle but provide no breed, size or weight.

Keep the Small Leg and Fur Lines Clear

Wipe the raised back, chest and muzzle gently, then use a soft approach around the narrow gaps near the legs. Avoid aggressive polishing that removes all recess contrast. Confirm the clutch is dry and secure before storing the pin with the post covered.

Material: 925 silver + brass needle
Breed: Not specified

Use Posture, Not an Unverified Breed Name

The long muzzle, upright chest and seated hindquarters suggest a hound-like silhouette, but the product record does not establish a specific breed. The most defensible identity is the posture: a compact seated dog looking up rather than a bulldog head, running animal or front-facing portrait.

This keeps the page distinct from the beanie bulldog brooch and avoids presenting visual resemblance as breed certification.

Position the Dog so the Gaze Reads Upward

Wear the paws down and the muzzle up. That orientation preserves the seated pose and lets the curved back follow a narrow lapel edge. Because the body is asymmetrical, check the pin after fastening to make sure it has not rotated sideways.

The product does not publish scale or weight. Use the actual item and garment together when deciding whether a lapel, collar or jacket pocket area offers enough support. A plain fabric background also keeps the small leg and muzzle outline easier to recognize.
