Brush uneven teeth without forcing the jaw

Use short gentle strokes around the tooth row and never lever cloth under the projecting lower face. Put the ring on after dressing and remove it for machinery, lifting, impact work and snag-prone tasks. Published weight describes the current product record; it is not an impact or load rating.

Wipe raised silver with a soft cloth and use a soft dry brush in accessible recesses. Avoid sharp picks and repeated aggressive tarnish removal. Conservation guidance notes that polishing removes some silver, so intentional dark contrast and narrow relief channels should be treated with restraint.

Crooked describes intentional asymmetry in the sculpted teeth and jaw, not a claim that the ring was bent in transit. The narrow face covers less side-to-side area than broad skull signets but extends farther along the finger.
